Top Girls
has long been regarded as part of the canon of women’s theatre. The
play revolves around the character Marlene, who has recently been
promoted at work. Through a mix of fantasy, a dinner party with
several important women from history, and reality, the challenges
facing the women in Marlene’s office, the play comically explores
the price paid to achieve success.
